Carding Mill Valley is a beautiful National Trust site that offers walks across the heartland with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills. Along the walk, you’ll enjoy views of the Lightspout Waterfall as well as various streams along the way.

By public transport

The nearest train station to Carding Mill Valley is Church Stretton, which is about a mile away. Church Stretton is on the Welsh Marches Line and is south of Shrewsbury.

From Church Stretton, Carding Mill Valley is walkable (about 45 minutes) along Bur Way, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding Shropshire Hills as you head towards the reservoir.
