Bare Hill Lakes is a lovely little spot in the Northamptonshire countryside just south Daventry that offers managed open water swimming sessions as well as paddleboarding.

Nestled on the River Nene, you can book a slot all year round in free-flowing water that is regularly tested for cleanliness.

Online bookings in advance are required and wetsuits are recommended but not required. The lakes also host events such as this charity yoga swim in July 2024.
